Horsham City Bowling Club member Betty Cozens has taken out the Award for March. Betty has had a wonderful 2006/07 Bowls season, winning her Clubs Singles title and skipping her club’s winning Championship Fours team. She won the Central Wimmera District Ladies Bowls Association (CWDLBA) Singles, was the winner at Group 4 level finishing in the final 8 in Victoria. |
Betty won the CWDLA Champion of Champions, was a member of the CWDLBA State Fours winning team and skippered an undefeated team for the pennant season.
A skilled and consistent lawn bowler, Betty aims to continue to be successful through the levels and to enjoy the friendship of her fellow bowlers. |
