Risk Management for sports clubs is part of the wider risk mitigation object funded by the Community Support Fund and managed by the Municipal Association of Victoria. VicSport has been one of the participants in this project along with Our Community and the Arts Industry Council of Victoria.

As part of this wider project MAV will be offering information sessions for Local Government Risk Managers, who will in turn run information nights for community clubs. As an adjunct to this community wide process, VicSport has worked with Lander & Rogers, Sport Employment Australia, Smartplay and IEA Brokers to develop a risk management package specifically targeted for sporting groups and associations.
