$80,000.00 in Sponsorships

The Board of the Horsham Sports & Community Club has decided to distribute a minimum of $80,000.00 in sponsorships to local sporting and community groups from the current financial years trading. This brings the grand total to $840,000.00 in cash sponsorships since the Clubs’ inception in 1992 and certainly makes life easier for many hardworking sporting and community group workers

Applications for sponsorships for the 2007-8 Financial year closed on Thursday 24th April 2008.  

The sponsorships will be distributed at a gala evening presentation dinner to be held at the Club on Thursday 19th June.  Invited guests include, Minister for Gaming, Tony Robinson, local MP Hugh Delahunty, local Mayor of Horsham Pam Clarke and senior Tattersalls representatives. The night is to be a celebration of the Clubs’ success to date and the role it plays in the community. The Club will honour HRCC citizen of the Year, Mark Radford and Horsham Sports & Community Club Staff Member of the Year, Andrew Sickerdick.

A three-course meal will satisfy all with tickets available from the Club for $30.00.
