Victorian Women's Benevolent Fund Grants now open

Grassroots Football Facilities Fund (GFFF) (Soccer)

The Grassroots Football Facilities Fund (GFFF) gives grants for projects that improve the quality, safety, reliability and accessibility of facilities for football (and other sport) in local communities.

Country Action Grants

Grants of up to $5,000 are available for three project types: Improving Organisations, Enhancing skills and Including Everyone.  Applications are open now, and close on March 1st, 2010 for projects from July 1st to December 31st 2010. [more info]

Australian Disability and Indigenous Person's Education Fund

The small grant round for the Australian Disability and Indigenous Person’s Education Fund is currently open. Quarterly deadlines are March 31st 2010 & June 30th 2010. Small grants of up to $2,500.00 are being made available to individuals with disabilities to continue their education.“People with disabilities of any age may apply for any assistance to help with both formal and informal education. Country Football and Netball Program

Worksafe Victoria in partnership with Netball Victoria are working together to raise the profile of workplace safety in regional and rural Victoria . Research indicates that if you live in country Victoria , you are more likely to be killed at work than those working in metropolitan Melbourne.

To promote netball as a safe and healthy sport for players, coaches, umpires, officials and spectators, the Worksafe Club Safety Fund has been established to provide financial assistance to netball/football clubs to improve the safety of the club environment. [more info]

Bushfire Grants 2009

A range of new and existing grants are available to support volunteers and communities affected by the Victorian Bushfire Crisis. [more info]

Local Sporting Champions Program

An opportunity for individuals and teams to apply for funding ($500 for individuals and up to $3,000 for teams). Maximum amount allocated to each federal electorate is $12,500 [more info]

Victorian Volunteer Small Grants

Community not-for-profit organisations that involve volunteers at a local level can apply for grants of upt to $5,000. [more info]

FRRR "Helping Hands" Small Rural Communities Funding Program

Not-for-profit Organisations can apply for projects and activities that offer clear public benefit for communities living in small rural and remote locations in Australia, contributing to their development in social and community welfare, economic, environmental, health, education or cultural areas.

DPCD Sponsorships

The Department of Planning and Community Development (DPCD) supports programs and events through sponsorship. DPCD sees sponsorship as a potential opportunity to increase community awareness of government messages and policies, and to communicate departmental strategies and initiatives. [more info]

VAYSAR Sport & Recreation Grant

This program aims to help Indigenous communities, sporting clubs and organisations access opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people participate or to increase their participation in all levels of sport and recreation activities. [more info]

Salvation Army Community Grants

The Salvation Army has two rounds of grants available to community organisations in regionalcentres in drought affected areas. [more info]

Peter Brock Foundation

The Peter Brock Foundation is a significant contributor to the community providing assistance to various organisations and worthwhile causes. The Foundation also has a strong commitment to assisting the community and individuals in times of need. [more info]
