SAILABILITY PROGRAM

The aim of Sailability is to introduce people of all ages and abilities to the joys of sailing in a straight forward, fun, inexpensive way in a supportive environment.

Just like water returning to the central wimmeras lakes, creeks and rivers; Sailability will also be returning!
Unfortunately due to recent weather conditions, Sailability has been in recess for several years in the central Wimmera. Sailability has continued to run at Lake Fyans near Stawell with great success.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
On arrival you will meet one of our friendly volunteers who will get you organized with a life jacket and run you through some basic boat safety instructions before heading off. The boats are very easy to sail and by the end of your session you will hopefully be steering and controlling the speed of your vessel.

The Access Dinghy’s are very safe. We will also lend you a life jacket and the expertise of one of our trained volunteers. Whilst on the water our trained safety boat crew will keep a careful eye on you and give you some extra help and advice if required.

WHAT DO YOU NEED?
A change of clothes could be needed as sometimes you can get wet!
A towel, Sun protection; Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses.

Please contact the Wimmera Regional Sports Assembly for more information.
